What We Do

All you need is to be 18+, hold a full UK driving licence and have a roadworthy car!

Cancelled until the pandemic eases.
KAM meet for a couple of hours at 1030am on the first Sunday* of every month at The Lock Inn car park, Wolverley Rd, Wolverley, Kidderminster DY10 3RN
when members of the public are invited to have their driving skills assessed.
KAM Observers undertake these assessments and provide feedback, providing a “try before you buy” opportunity.

*Please check our website in case of a late cancellation due to exceptionally bad weather.

The Skill for Life Advanced Driver course helps you improve your driving skills, by increasing your observational and anticipation skills.

The course includes:

  • One-to-one drives with a qualified Observer
  • The “Advanced Driver Course” Handbook
  • IAM and Local Group associate membership

We hold periodic evening meetings at Stourport Community Centre, Lower Lickhill Road, Stourport-on-Severn, DY13 8RW. These cover a variety of driving and associated topics, often with a guest speaker.

Run in conjunction with Sanden Driver Training at Throckmorton, this half-day course is held on an old aerodrome and involves the following three elements: Dealing with Emergency Situations, Collision Avoidance and Precision Driving.

Refresher drives are offered to all of our members; a chance to re-assess your driving skills with one of our Observers who will offer advice or additional training if you want it.
This is also ideal if you have had a layoff from driving because you have been unwell or you have lost a little confidence. Whatever the reason, our Observers are there to help you.
60+?  A long time since you took your test?  Why not come along and find out what’s changed?
